According to WSBTV in Atlanta, Melissa Davenport and her attorney, Gerry Weber, moved to sue the Georgia city because they believe the ordinance has the government tied too much up in the personal lives of its civilians.

Davenport, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, told the television station that people perceive sex toys as something dirty, but, for many, the devices are necessary to have healthy intimate relationships with their partners.

She said the sex toys saved her marriage.
